Do you run in the morning or do you run at night?
崔浩: 阿明，你 喜欢 什么 运动？
Amin, what kind of sports do you like?
阿明: 我 喜欢 跑步。我 觉得 跑步 对 身体 很 好。
I like running. I think running is good for the body.
崔浩: 你 早上 跑步，还是 晚上 跑步？
Do you run in the morning or do you run at night?
阿明: 我 一般 晚上 跑步。
I usually run in the evening.

Cui Hao, do you have any hobbies?

1: Preposition 对（1）
“对” here is a preposition used to introduce the patient of an action.
S + P [ 对..... + V/Adj ]
For example:
我 对 太极拳 感兴趣。
I'm interested in Taijiquan.
我 对 看 电视 不 感兴趣。
I'm not interested in watching TV.
跑步 对 身体 很好。
Running is good for the body.
2: About “呢” (2)
“呢” is used at he end of special questions, alternative questions or affirmative-negative questions to express an emphatic tone.
For example:
这是 谁 的 书 呢？
Whose book is this?
我 去 还是 不去 呢？
Shall I go or not?
我 买，你 买 不 买 呢？
I buy it, do you buy it?
3: Interrogative sentences “还是”
“还是” is used interrogative sentences, indicating an alternative.
For example:
你 是 老师 还是 学生？
Are you a teacher or a student?
你 喝 茶 还是 喝 咖啡？
Would you like tea or coffee?
你 早上 跑步，还是 晚上 跑步？
Do you run in the morning or do you run at night?
4: Respond to thanks：“不客气”，“不谢”
This is an expresion to respond to thanks. Sometimes “不客气” or “不谢” is also used.
5: Extended reading：这学期语言学校有六门兴趣课。
这 学期 语言 学校 有 六 门 兴趣课。我 对 书法、太极拳 很 感兴趣，可是 这 两 门 课 上课 时间 一样，我 选 书法 还是 太极拳 呢？这 学期 我 想 选 太极拳，下 学期 我 再 选 书法 吧。
There are six interest classes in the language school this semester. I am very interested in calligraphy and Taijiquan, but the two classes are the same time. Do I choose calligraphy or Taijiquan? I want to choose Taijiquan this semester. I will choose calligraphy next semester.
