There are not many new words in the fourth lesson.

我们 班 的 精读 课 老师 姓 李,是 一 位 女 老师。我们 今天 学习 第 四 课。第 四 课 在 精读 书 的 第 20 页。我们 跟 李 老师 读 生词,读 课文,做 练习。第 四 课 的 生词 不多,汉字 也 不难。
Our class reading teacher is a female teacher surnamed Li. We learn fourth lessons today. The fourth lesson is on the twentieth page of the reading book. We read the new words with Mr. Li, read the text, and do the exercises. There are not many new words in the fourth lesson, and the Chinese characters are not difficult.
李 老师 请 珍妮 用 “ 也 ” 造句 。珍妮 的 句子 很好。
Miss. Li asked Jeanne to make a sentence with「也」. Jeanne's sentence is very good.
李老师 请 乔治 做 拼音 练习。乔治 的 发音 不错。
Miss. Li asked George to do the Pinyin practice. George's pronunciation is good.
昨天 我们 没有 作业。今天 的 作业 是 练习 j,q,x 的 发音,抄写 第四课 的 生词,准备 明天 听写 生词 和 句子。
We had no homework yesterday. Today's homework is to practice the pronunciation of j, q, x, copy write the new words of the fourth lesson, and prepare for the dictation of the new words and sentences tomorrow.

Chinese Grammars.

1: Ordinal numeral 【第】
In Chinese, an ordinal numeral is formed by adding the prefix [] in front of a cardinal numeral, i.e., [] + cardinal numeral.
For example:
第一
第三
第三页
第四课

2: Verb:请
S(subject) + + S(subject) + P [ V(verb) + O(object) ]
For example:
老师 乔治 造句
The teacher asked George to make a sentence.

I invited him to coffee.
朋友
My friend invited me to dinner.

Today my friend will invite me to dinner.
When the first verb is “
”, the subject of the sentence may be omitted.

3: The usage of punctuation marks (1)
Comma (,):It denotes a pause in a sentence.
For example:
山下 京美
My first name is 山下 ,last name is 京美.
那儿教室 旁边
It's there, next to the classroom.
她们 电视她们 音乐
They don't watch TV, they listen to music.

Full stop (。): It denotes a pause after a declarative sentence and is used at the end of a declarative sentence.
For example:
美国
I'm American.
学习 汉语
She studies Chinese.
学校 工作
I work in a school.

Question mark (?): It denotes a pause after a question and is used at the end of a question.
For example:
清华大学 哪儿?
Where is the Tsinghua University?
爸爸
Does your father drink?
水果
Do you buy fruit?

Exclamation mark (!): It denotes a pause after a sentence expressing strong emotions and is used at the end of an exclamation sentence.
For example:
不客气
You are welcome.
谢谢
Okay. Thanks!
谢谢 你们
Great! Thank you!
