1: About “贵姓”
“贵姓” is used to ask a person's surname in a polite way.
For example:
你 贵姓?
What's your first name?
NOTE:
(1) To answer this question, you can not say “我 贵姓.....”.
(2) You may also ask someone's surname by saying “你 姓 什么?”.
2: The Interrogative Pronoun “怎么”
The interrogative pronoun “怎么” is used before a verb to ask about the manner of an action.
For example:
我 怎么 称呼 您?
How do I address you?
这 个 字 怎么 写?
How do you write this word?
你 怎么 没 去?

3: The auxiliary “可以”
“可以” is optative verbs used before a verb to indicate somebody can do something under certain condition. However, in most cases, “可以” is used when somebody does something under objective condition.
你 可以 叫 我 池田宏。
You can call me chi tian hong.
这儿 可以 照相 吗?
Can I take pictures here?
你 可以 试一试。
