“儿” can be combined with a syllable befroe it, forming a retroflex syllable, which is written as “character + 儿” and spelt “syllable + r” in pinyin.
For example:
小孩儿,小鸟儿,饭馆儿

2: The suffix “们”
们 is a noun suffix denoting plurality, only used after personal pronouns or nouns.
(1) pron. + 们:你/我/她/他 + 们

3: The Interrogative pronoun “什么”
The interrogative pronoun “什么” is used in interrogative sentences, serving as the object by itself or together with a nominal element following it.
For example:
姓 什么?
What's last name?
你 叫 什么 名字?
What's your name?
这 是 什么 杂志?
What magazine is this?
4: The Particle “的”
The structure “noun/pronoun + 的 + noun” indicates possession. When the noun following “的” is a term of kinship or indicates a person, “的” can be omitted.
For example:
谁 是 她 的 丈夫?
Who is her husband?
你们 的 老师。
Your teacher.
她 不是 我 同学,她 是 我 朋友。
She is not my classmate. She is my friend.
